Emirates Group Launches Extensive Global Recruitment Drive for Pilots, IT Experts, and Cabin Crew

In a bid to meet its growing demands and expansion plans, Emirates Group has embarked on a large-scale recruitment campaign, targeting hundreds of positions across various departments. The airline, known for its prestigious status in the aviation industry, is seeking to hire professionals in roles such as cabin crew, pilots, engineers, IT experts, and customer service agents, as reported by Arabian Business.

Despite the challenging job market conditions prevailing worldwide, Emirates Group’s remarkable financial performance in the previous year has paved the way for further growth and development. With the addition of new aircraft fleets, the group anticipates increased operational capacity, thus necessitating the recruitment of additional talent.

The Emirates Group concluded the previous financial year with over 102,000 employees, underscoring its position as a leading employer in the industry. Notably, the group hired 17,160 people during that period, despite the challenging circumstances faced by the global job market. Testament to its popularity as an employer, the group received a staggering 2.7 million applications for various roles worldwide.

To attract talent from diverse fields, Emirates has launched an extensive recruitment campaign, organizing open days and invite-only events across six continents throughout the year. The goal is to reach out to qualified individuals across the globe and invite them to join the airline’s expanding team.

The recruitment process at Emirates is designed to be swift and efficient, with the aim of completing it within a day. Successful applicants can expect to receive communication within 48 hours, confirming their selection.

For aspiring pilots, Emirates will be conducting open days in the UK and Ireland, with specific focus on Dublin, Manchester, London Gatwick, and London Stansted in August. Previous successful recruitment drives have taken place in Budapest, Madrid, and Lisbon. Emirates offers a range of pilot roles suitable for candidates with varying levels of experience.

Emirates Engineering, an integral part of the Emirates Group, is actively seeking professionals to join its team. The division has scheduled open days in Australia, Canada, Brazil, South Africa, and the UK during July and August. Emirates Engineering is particularly interested in recruiting 75 Structural Technicians, in addition to over 400 positions in aircraft maintenance engineering and engineering support roles.

Additionally, the Emirates Group aims to recruit more than 400 IT professionals across various entities. It is seeking individuals with expertise in software engineering, DevOps, hybrid cloud, agile delivery, technical product management, digital workplace, cybersecurity, IT architecture, innovation, and service management.
