Rocket Explosion Tragedy in Kashmore, Sindh
Nine Lives Lost, Including Five Children: Investigation Ongoing
KASHMORE, SINDH – A devastating incident occurred in Kashmore, Sindh, where a rocket explosion resulted in the loss of nine lives, including five children.
The explosion took place within a residential area and is currently under investigation by the local police, led by Senior Superintendent Rohail Khoso. One person was also injured in the explosion, and the area has been sealed off by law enforcement. An emergency was declared at the district hospital to handle the aftermath of the incident.
The explosion happened at around 9:00 AM in the village of Badal Sabzoi, Union Council Malheer, taluka Kandhkot.

Health officials responded swiftly, and a Rapid Response team arrived at the scene, transferring the victims to the local taluka hospital. Ten people were brought in for treatment, and one, identified as 40-year-old Shaista, was discharged after receiving medical care.
Justice (retd) Maqbool Baqir, the provincial Caretaker Chief Minister, has taken notice of the incident and ordered a police investigation while questioning why a rocket was present in the village.
Pakistan Peoples Party’s Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari has also called for a government inquiry into the explosion, expressing concern about criminal activities in the katcha areas of Sindh and Punjab and urging the government to address the issue.
