Now Pakistanis Will Get High-Quality Passports Printed Faster Than Ever!

Karachi: Pakistan’s passport system is getting a major upgrade with the arrival of high-speed e-passport printers from Germany. These new machines will speed up passport printing and improve overall service for applicants across the country.
Two advanced e-passport printers and six desktop printers have been delivered to Karachi, along with a foreign technical team to oversee their installation. According to Director-General of Passports, Mustafa Jamal Qazi, these printers can print 1,000 passports per hour, making the process faster and more efficient than ever.
This latest upgrade follows last year’s introduction of 10 modern passport printers, which doubled the department’s capacity to 40,000 passports per day. With these new additions, delays in passport processing are expected to decrease significantly, benefiting thousands of Pakistanis, especially those traveling abroad.
Officials say this improvement will ensure that Pakistani passports meet international standards, providing better quality and quicker service to citizens. The new system will be fully operational soon, bringing a new level of efficiency to passport issuance.
