Rolls-Royce Reveals World’s Most Expensive Car: Pricing and Details
Unveiling the Extravagant La Rose Noire Droptail
Rolls-Royce has pulled the wraps off its latest automotive marvel – the La Rose Noire Droptail, now officially the world’s costliest car. Drawing inspiration from 1930s high-speed sailing yachts, this two-tone, two-seat wonder showcases both manufacturing prowess and aesthetic excellence. With only four units planned, each Droptail will be meticulously tailored to buyers’ preferences.
The inaugural model, La Rose Noire, takes its name from the rare black baccara rose, with an exterior that gracefully shifts colors reminiscent of the flower’s hues. Developed over five years, the Droptail features an elegant exterior, blending steel, aluminum, and carbon fiber, powered by a 6.7-liter V12 engine producing 593 horsepower. A distinctive grille design enhances its aesthetics.
Inside, a blend of red and black tones adorns the vehicle’s bodywork, showcasing impeccable craftsmanship. The interior boasts 1,603 pieces of black sycamore wood trim veneer, evoking the image of scattered rose petals. The dashboard integrates a custom-designed Audemars Piguet watch that can be worn separately, while a champagne and cooler storage compartment adds a touch of luxury.
This remarkable roadster is expected to come with an eye-watering price tag exceeding $30 million.
