Government Provides Hope for Reduced Petrol Prices from October 1st
The federal government is hopeful that petrol will become cheaper from October 1st.
Speaking to media representatives in Karachi, Minister for Industries Ghohar Ijaz stated that with the stabilizing currency, positive results are expected.
He emphasized that it is better to deter those who send dollars abroad illegally, and the decrease in the value of the dollar will provide relief to the public.

Gohar Ijaz mentioned that the value of the dollar has decreased in the interbank and open markets due to government initiatives, and it is hoped that good news about petrol prices will come on the first of the month.
The federal minister said, “It is our responsibility to consider the industry and trade. Special Investment Facilitation Council (SIFC) is receiving significant investment from Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates.”
On the other hand, Sindh Governor Kamran Tessori stated that it is not just his trust in Ghohar Ijaz but the trust of the entire nation’s industrialists. Economic and social issues have existed for 75 years, and Ghohar Ijaz cannot resolve them in just 90 days.
