Major Fuel Price Increase: Petrol Up 26 Rupees, Diesel 17+ Rupees
Government Announces Substantial Increases in Fuel Costs
The government has raised the price of petrol by 26 rupees and 2 paisas per liter, while the price of high-speed diesel has been increased by 17 rupees and 34 paisas per liter.
The Ministry of Finance has issued a notification regarding the new prices of petroleum products.

After the increase, the new price of petrol is 331 rupees and 38 paisas per liter, while the new price of diesel is 329 rupees and 18 paisas per liter.
These new prices came into effect from 12 midnight.
