In the United States, there are over a hundred thousand shopping malls, but the distinction of being the world’s largest shopping mall has now gone to Iran, America’s biggest rival.
In the northeast of Tehran, there are seven floors of ‘Iran Mall,’ but the entire infrastructure is spread over an area of 1.35 million square meters, which will be expanded to 1.6 million square meters.
From 2014 to the present day, over 1,200 contractors and 25,000 laborers have worked here to create the world’s largest shopping mall.

In 2018, the first phase of construction was completed, with 708 shops opening.
‘Iran Mall’ boasts 12 cinemas, a theater hall with seating for 2,000 people, a wonderland, and several art galleries.
On the rooftop, there are tennis courts, a convention center, hotels, and multiple conference halls.
A new five-star hotel and a modern sports center will also open soon.
