Infinix has solidified its position as Pakistan’s leading locally assembled smartphone brand in 2025, producing over 3.6 million units, according to data released by the Pakistan Telecommunication Authority. The achievement highlights the growing strength of domestic mobile assembly despite challenges in the sector, including weaker consumer demand, longer replacement cycles, and rising competition from imported devices.

Local assembly continues to dominate the market, fulfilling 93 percent of the country’s total mobile phone consumption, showing the resilience and capability of Pakistan’s manufacturing ecosystem. In total, local manufacturers assembled 30.21 million phones in 2025, encompassing both advanced smartphones and basic 2G devices, which underscores the role of domestic production in meeting diverse consumer needs while supporting local industry, creating jobs, and reducing reliance on imports. The growth of brands like Infinix reflects ongoing investments in local assembly lines, technological upgrades, and supply chain development, positioning Pakistan as a key player in the regional mobile manufacturing landscape.
