During Azerbaijan’s Victory Day celebrations in Baku, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif underscored the enduring and deep-rooted relationship between Pakistan, Azerbaijan, and Turkiye, describing it as a strategic and fraternal partnership that reflects shared values and mutual respect. Addressing the gathering, he praised the leadership of Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev and Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, highlighting their significant roles in promoting peace, stability, and cooperation across the region.
The Prime Minister stressed that Pakistan remains fully committed to fostering sovereignty, stability, and development both within its borders and across the region. He described the trilateral bond among Pakistan, Azerbaijan, and Turkiye as a symbol of unity and brotherhood, emphasizing that the partnership goes beyond diplomatic ties to reflect a shared vision for regional harmony and mutual progress.
Shehbaz Sharif also reaffirmed Pakistan’s support for global self-determination movements, underlining the country’s consistent stance on defending the rights of peoples striving for sovereignty and justice.
