GWM Pakistan has officially introduced the locally assembled TANK 500 in Pakistan, offering both Hybrid Electric Vehicle and Plug-in Hybrid Electric Vehicle variants to meet the growing demand for advanced and fuel-efficient SUVs. This launch replaces the previously imported model and brings a major price reduction, making the vehicle more accessible to buyers looking for a premium full-size hybrid SUV.
The HEV variant has been priced at Rs. 2.05 crore for the 7-seater model, while the PHEV variant is available at Rs. 2.25 crore for the 5-seater version. Bookings have opened from January 26, with expected delivery timelines of around three to four months, although some reports suggest waiting periods could extend up to nine months due to strong market demand.
The locally assembled TANK 500 marks a significant milestone for Pakistan’s auto industry as the country’s first full-size hybrid and plug-in hybrid SUV to be produced locally.
