Pakistan’s information technology sector has officially entered the Kuwaiti market, marking a significant milestone for the country's expanding digital economy. A delegation of 17 prominent Pakistani IT firms, led by the Pakistan Software Export Board (PSEB), participated in the inaugural Pakistan-Kuwait Tech Conference 2025, a first-of-its-kind event focused on fostering bilateral cooperation in the tech sector. Organized in collaboration with the Pakistani Embassy in Kuwait and the Digital Cooperation Organization (DCO), the conference served as a platform for deepening digital and trade ties between the two countries. Pakistani companies presented advanced capabilities in key areas such as artificial intelligence, fintech, healthtech, and enterprise software solutions, positioning themselves to meet the demands of Kuwait’s rapidly growing ICT industry, which is valued at over $22 billion. The move reflects Pakistan’s strategic efforts to diversify its IT export destinations and strengthen its footprint in high-potential Gulf markets. Participation in the conference not only introduced Pakistani tech talent to Kuwaiti enterprises but also opened up new opportunities for cross-border investment, innovation, and collaboration in the digital space.
