Pakistan National Shipping Corporation has inducted a new MR-II tanker, MT Quetta, into its managed fleet, the company announced in a filing with the Pakistan Stock Exchange. The vessel, with a deadweight tonnage of 49,999 tons, was added through PNSC’s subsidiary, Quetta Shipping (Private) Limited.
The addition strengthens PNSC’s tanker operations and expands the capacity of its managed fleet. PNSC primarily operates in shipping, including vessel chartering, cargo transportation, and providing commercial, technical, administrative, and financial services to its subsidiaries and third parties. The corporation also generates revenue by leasing its properties to tenants.
The disclosure was made in compliance with Section 96 of the Securities Act, 2015, and PSX rules, ensuring transparency in reporting significant developments.
