No official announcement or notification confirming such an extension has been issued by the Punjab government. The School Education Department and other official government platforms have not released any such directive.
Rana Sikandar Hayat, head of the School Education Department, recently addressed the speculation and clarified that schools and colleges will reopen as originally scheduled. He urged the public not to rely on unverified sources, stating: “School & College Holidays Will NOT Be Extended. Please avoid fake news.”
Parents, students, and school administrations are advised to follow only official government channels for accurate updates regarding school schedules.
