The Balochistan government has announced the release of advertisements for more than 25,000 vacancies across various departments, covering Grades 1 to 15. This recruitment drive was announced by Chief Minister Sarfraz Bugti and marks a major step toward filling longstanding vacancies in provincial departments and expanding employment opportunities for residents of Balochistan.
In addition to these vacancies, around 4,000 positions in Grades 16 and 17 have been forwarded to the Balochistan Public Service Commission (BPSC) for recruitment. The CM stated that departments that have already completed tests and interviews will issue appointment orders immediately, while remaining vacancies will proceed through an online testing process and merit-based selection, similar to the recent recruitment procedures used by the Finance Department.
Chief Minister Bugti emphasized the importance of merit-based hiring, stating that good governance depends on transparent recruitment. He reiterated his commitment that no job in Balochistan will be sold, underscoring the government’s focus on accountability and fair selection.
The announcement is aimed at strengthening administrative efficiency through a transparent and merit-driven process, while addressing the province’s employment needs by filling key positions across multiple departments.
