The Vivo X300 series, launching on October 13 in China, brings significant upgrades over last year’s X200 Pro Mini, with the standard X300 now taking the place of the discontinued Pro Mini model. This shift marks Vivo’s focus on delivering a compact flagship experience without a separate mini variant. Known for its Zeiss camera system, the Vivo X series continues to emphasize advanced photography features, with the X300 standing out as a major leap forward. Camera improvements are substantial, with the Vivo X300 boasting a 200MP primary sensor paired with a Zeiss APO telephoto lens, while the selfie camera has been upgraded to 50MP from the X200 Pro Mini’s 32MP shooter. The new model supports 10-bit Log recording, enabling richer color depth and professional-grade video capture. Video stabilization is also enhanced, offering steadier footage and supporting 4K video recording at 120fps, doubling the maximum frame rate of the previous generation's 4K 60fps. The inclusion of Vivo’s latest V3+ imaging chip further boosts camera performance over the V2 chip found in the X200 Pro Mini. Powering the X300 is the cutting-edge Dimensity 9500 chipset, delivering up to 32% faster single-core and 17% higher multi-core CPU performance compared to the chipset in the X200 Pro Mini, ensuring smoother multitasking and gaming experiences. In terms of design, the X300 is slimmer with a thickness of 7.95mm compared to 8.15mm on the X200 Pro Mini, while both models maintain a 6.31-inch display size. The X300’s screen features narrower 1.05mm symmetrical bezels, improved minimum brightness down to 1 nit, and supports both dual PWM and DC dimming technologies, enhancing eye comfort during prolonged use. Alongside the standard X300, Vivo will also release the X300 Pro model, rounding out the new flagship series with even more premium features. This launch solidifies Vivo’s commitment to combining powerful imaging capabilities with high-performance hardware and refined design in their latest compact flagship offering.
