Realme has officially introduced the Realme 15x as the latest addition to its Realme 15 series, offering an impressive combination of high-performance hardware, durability, and advanced features at a competitive price point. This smartphone is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 processor and runs Realme UI 6 based on Android 15 right out of the box. Buyers can choose from multiple configurations, including up to 8GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage, which is expandable up to 2TB through a microSD card.
The Realme 15x features a large 6.8-inch HD+ LCD with a 144Hz refresh rate and a peak brightness of 1,200 nits. It includes Smart Touch functionality, which allows for seamless use even with wet or oily fingers, gloves, or when operating the phone inside a waterproof bag—making it ideal for users on the go or in challenging environments.
Photography on the Realme 15x is handled by a dual rear camera setup, with the primary sensor being a 50MP Sony IMX852. The company has not yet disclosed details about the secondary camera. The phone includes an 80W power adapter in the box, though the device itself supports 60W fast charging. Additionally, users can benefit from 6.5W reverse wired charging, enabling the Realme 15x to charge other devices when needed.
Realme emphasizes the durability of the 15x with military-grade MIL-STD-810H certification and a multi-level IP rating. While the brand markets the device with an "IP69 Pro" label, it technically meets IP66, IP68, and IP69 standards. Realme claims this “Pro” designation refers to enhanced resistance across multiple liquid types and extreme temperatures ranging from 0°C to 85°C, though a detailed list of supported liquids has not been provided.
The Realme 15x measures 8.2mm in thickness, weighs 212 grams, and includes a side-mounted fingerprint scanner for security. It is available in three colors—Aqua Blue, Marine Blue, and Maroon Red—and comes in three storage and memory variants. The 6GB RAM with 128GB storage version is priced at INR 16,999, the 8GB RAM with 128GB storage variant at INR 17,999, and the top-tier 8GB RAM with 256GB storage model is available for INR 19,999.
