Luxury smartphone customization company Caviar has launched a new Zodiac collection for Apple's foldable iPhone Duo, allowing customers to personalize their devices with premium materials such as precious metals, gemstones, exotic leather, and even meteorite fragments. The collection features 12 zodiac-inspired designs, with prices starting at approximately $14,800.
Through an online configurator, buyers can select their zodiac sign and then customize various elements of the phone, including the frame, back panel, zodiac circle, and central medallion. Caviar claims that each zodiac sign offers more than one million possible combinations, resulting in approximately 15 million design combinations across the entire collection.
Available frame materials include silver, gold plating, natural titanium, and titanium with a black PVD coating. For the rear panel, customers can choose from forged carbon or different types of leather, such as calfskin, python, and crocodile leather. Decorative options include Swarovski crystals, gemstones, jewelry enamel, and meteorite inlays, along with textured metal finishes like clous de Paris and chevron patterns.
The default Capricorn model, featuring a black titanium frame and forged carbon back panel, starts at an estimated $14,800. The Aquarius configuration, which uses silver and navy crocodile leather, is priced at approximately $18,615. Both models are based on the 256GB iPhone Duo, which has a standard starting price of $1,999.
Caviar's Zodiac collection targets affluent consumers seeking unique, personalized luxury devices. The high price point reflects the use of premium materials and extensive customization options, positioning the iPhone Duo as a statement piece beyond its technological capabilities.
