Fly Jinnah's incoming Airbus A320neo has successfully completed its first test flight in France, marking another step toward the aircraft joining the Pakistani carrier's fleet. The plane is currently flying under the French registration F-WWBD while it undergoes pre-delivery checks.

According to flight tracking data, the aircraft operated test flight AIB01BD on Monday, November 2. It departed Toulouse at 12:08 p.m. local time and returned to the same airport at 2:10 p.m., logging a total flight time of two hours and two minutes. During the sortie, the aircraft climbed to a maximum altitude of 39,000 feet.

Once testing and delivery formalities are complete, the A320neo is expected to be assigned the Pakistani registration AP-BQA before it enters commercial service with Fly Jinnah. The registration change will formally mark the aircraft's transition from Airbus's test programme to the airline's operational fleet.

The addition of the A320neo would expand Fly Jinnah's fleet at a time when the airline is working to grow both its domestic network and its international operations. The A320neo is a fuel-efficient narrowbody widely used by carriers looking to lower operating costs on short- and medium-haul routes.

For passengers, fleet expansion can translate into more route options and increased capacity on existing services. The airline has not yet announced a specific delivery date or the routes the new aircraft will initially serve, and further details are expected as the aircraft completes its final testing and handover stages.

The completion of the first test flight is a routine but important milestone in the delivery process, as it confirms the aircraft's systems and performance before it is formally accepted by the airline.
