TikTok removed more than 23.2 million videos in Pakistan during the second quarter of 2026 for violating its Community Guidelines, according to the platform's latest enforcement report covering April through June. The figure reflects a continued emphasis on automated content moderation in one of TikTok's largest markets.

The Q2 2026 Community Guidelines Enforcement Report states that 23,243,711 videos were taken down in Pakistan over the three-month period, representing a removal rate of 1.1 percent of all content uploaded in the country. The vast majority of these removals were handled without any user reports, with 99.7 percent of violating videos detected and removed proactively.

Speed was a defining feature of the enforcement effort. TikTok said it removed 94.5 percent of the flagged videos in Pakistan within 24 hours of upload. At the same time, 519,075 videos were restored after additional review, indicating that the platform's appeal and re-check process led to a small share of takedowns being reversed.

The numbers highlight how heavily TikTok depends on automated detection systems to police content at scale. These systems scan and classify uploaded material far faster than human moderators could, allowing the company to act on violations almost immediately after posting.

Globally, the report shows TikTok removed more than 188.2 million videos during the same quarter. Automated systems accounted for 99.5 percent of worldwide removals, and 92.7 percent of violating videos were taken down within 24 hours of being uploaded. After further review, 6,262,383 videos were restored globally.

For Pakistani users and creators, the scale of removals underscores the strictness of the platform's content rules and the role of machine-driven moderation in shaping what remains visible on the app. The report offers a rare window into how TikTok enforces its policies in Pakistan and around the world.
