The Karachi Intermediate Board has announced a significant update for students who had exhausted their final exam attempt in 2008, offering them a renewed opportunity to participate in the upcoming 2025 supplementary examinations. This decision aligns with a resolution made by the Sindh Boards Committee of Chairmen during a meeting on March 5, 2018, which aimed to extend additional chances to long-outdated candidates seeking to complete their intermediate education.
Eligible students from various academic streams, including Pre-Medical, Pre-Engineering, General Science, Commerce (both regular and private), Arts (both regular and private), Home Economics, and Medical Technology, are now permitted to reappear in the exams by submitting a special fee of Rs. 6,000. Candidates must complete their registration and fee payment through the official online portal of the Karachi Board between October 1 and October 29, 2025. This initiative serves as a valuable second chance for those aiming to resume or complete their academic journey after an extended hiatus.
