Pakistan’s passport has seen a significant rise in global rankings, now placing among the world’s top 100 according to the Henley Passport Index 2025, Federal Minister for Interior announced. The improvement reflects the government’s efforts to enhance international mobility for Pakistani citizens and strengthen diplomatic ties with countries around the world.
With the upgraded ranking, Pakistani passport holders can now access a greater number of countries visa-free or with visa-on-arrival, making international travel easier and more convenient than in previous years. Officials highlighted that this achievement represents a positive step toward improving Pakistan’s global image and travel freedom.
Authorities also reaffirmed their commitment to continuing reforms aimed at further enhancing international recognition and expanding the list of countries offering easier access to Pakistani travelers, signaling a long-term focus on mobility, diplomacy, and global engagement.
