Former MEXT scholarship recipients are not eligible to apply.

Applicants should verify eligibility, gather all supporting documents, complete the online form accurately, and submit well before the deadline of 31 October 2025. Shortlisted candidates may be invited for an interview, either online or in person. Final results will be announced by the University of Tokyo and MEXT.
