The Government of Hungary has opened applications for its fully funded scholarships for Pakistani students for the 2026–27 academic year. Through this international programme, students from partner countries—including Pakistan—can pursue higher education at leading universities across Hungary.

The scholarship is available for multiple academic levels, including bachelor’s, master’s, long master’s, PhD, and certain non-degree programmes. Students can select from a wide range of fields such as science, engineering, business, agriculture, health, arts, and social sciences, making the programme suitable for a diverse group of applicants.

The initiative is fully funded, meaning students do not pay tuition fees. Recipients also receive a monthly stipend to help with living expenses. Depending on the degree level, students may be provided with hostel accommodation or given a housing allowance. The scholarship includes health insurance, and some selected students may receive travel support as well.

Eligible applicants from partner countries, including Pakistan, can apply through the relevant nominating authority in their home country. Candidates must meet academic criteria, prepare complete documentation, and follow the official application process. Once nominations are made, Hungarian universities review applications and select the final recipients.

The application deadline is 15 January 2026, with final selection results expected by mid-2026.
