The Government of Hungary has opened applications for fully funded scholarships for Pakistani students for the 2026–27 academic year, offering an excellent opportunity to pursue higher education at top Hungarian universities. This initiative is part of Hungary’s international education programme aimed at strengthening academic ties with partner countries, including Pakistan.
The scholarships are available for a wide range of programmes, including bachelor’s degrees, master’s degrees, long master’s, PhD studies, and select non-degree courses. Eligible fields of study span science, engineering, business, agriculture, health, arts, and social sciences, allowing students to choose a discipline aligned with their career goals.
Recipients of the scholarships receive full financial support, which covers tuition fees, a monthly living stipend, and health insurance. In many cases, accommodation or housing allowances are included, and some programmes may also provide travel support to facilitate study in Hungary.
Pakistani students must meet the academic requirements set by Hungarian universities and submit their applications through authorised organisations within Pakistan. Once applications are received, shortlisted candidates are reviewed by the respective universities, which will make final selections.
The deadline for submission is 15 January 2026, and successful candidates are expected to be notified by mid-2026. This scholarship programme provides a valuable opportunity for Pakistani students to gain international exposure, access world-class education, and develop skills for global career opportunities.
