UNICEF is offering free online courses through its Agora platform, providing a unique opportunity for learners worldwide to upgrade their skills and earn a free certificate upon completion. These courses are designed for anyone interested in humanitarian work, child development, and global issues, with no prerequisites required. Learners can start at any time and progress at their own pace, making it an accessible option for students, professionals, and volunteers alike.

The UNICEF courses cover a wide range of topics crucial to child rights, development, and humanitarian efforts. Key subjects include health prevention, nutrition programs, gender equality, safeguarding training, emergency preparedness, and understanding humanitarian systems. By completing these courses, learners gain practical knowledge and expertise that can enhance their professional credibility, particularly in fields like child protection, humanitarian aid, and development work.

Participants will receive official UNICEF certificates, which serve as formal recognition of their skills and commitment to promoting child welfare. These certificates can be added to resumes, LinkedIn profiles, or other professional portfolios, boosting career prospects and demonstrating dedication to making a positive impact globally.

The courses are fully online, self-paced, and free of charge, requiring only a stable internet connection and access via a laptop or PC. They are open to anyone from any region, with learners encouraged to engage actively and implement the knowledge gained for meaningful change.

Key benefits of UNICEF online courses include acquiring new skills from the comfort of home, enhancing personal and professional development, gaining recognition through official certification, and contributing to global humanitarian efforts. Both UNICEF staff and external learners can access the platform—staff through a dedicated login, and non-staff as guests. Once enrolled, learners can immediately start engaging with the course material.

This initiative reflects the growing popularity of online learning, offering flexible, high-quality training that prepares learners for impactful careers while promoting the well-being of children worldwide.

Please I want to be part of the free UNICEF online courses. I am a teacher and working with children is my passion I will be greatful if I can be considered to take the courses so that I can improve my skills and widen my carrier scope. I have also worked as a UNICEF  peer educator volunteer in my country but no certificate was issued to us during the training, I would love to be offered the opportunity to do courses that can earn me a certificate at the end. Thanks
