Google has launched a major initiative to support digital learning in Pakistan by offering students aged 18 and above a free one-year subscription to its AI Pro plan. This program provides access to some of Google’s most powerful artificial intelligence tools, aiming to boost academic research, creativity, and productivity among young learners across the country.
Students enrolled in this initiative will benefit from the Gemini AI Pro Plan, which includes advanced features powered by the Gemini 2.5 Pro model. Key components of the plan are integrated directly into widely used Google apps such as Gmail, Docs, Sheets, Slides, and Meet, enabling students to streamline everyday tasks like summarizing emails, writing reports, building presentations, and analyzing data. These tools are designed to support both academic and creative workflows, helping students work more efficiently and effectively.
NotebookLM, another part of the offering, delivers a personalized AI-powered research and writing assistant. It helps students organize study materials, generate insights from text, and access audio summaries — all tailored to support deep learning and idea development.
Creative tools are also included in the AI Pro plan. Students can generate high-quality videos using Veo 3 and Flow, which transform text or image prompts into dynamic content. This functionality supports those involved in visual storytelling, digital media projects, or innovative academic presentations.
To ensure seamless access and file management, the plan includes 2 terabytes of cloud storage, giving students ample space to securely store documents, projects, and media files throughout the academic year.
