Youth Break the Boundaries has officially opened registrations for the Middle East Youth Summit 2026, an international forum for Muslim youth that will take place from March 30 to April 2, 2026, in Makkah, Saudi Arabia. The summit will bring together young Muslims from around the world to engage in dialogue, leadership development, and collaborative action focused on global challenges.

The 2026 edition of the summit is being held under the theme “Global Muslim Youth Collaboration for Sustainable Development.” The program aims to empower participants by strengthening leadership skills, encouraging cross-cultural understanding, and promoting cooperation on initiatives aligned with international development priorities. As one of Youth Break the Boundaries’ flagship international programs, the summit continues to promote the spirit of Together for Ummah by integrating Islamic values with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.

Participants will work in diverse, multicultural teams to design and present social impact projects linked to key development goals, including quality education, gender equality, reduced inequalities, peace and justice, and global partnerships. The four-day program will feature symposium sessions, leadership workshops, panel discussions with experts, mentoring opportunities, project presentations, and cultural exchange activities. Delegates will also have the opportunity to perform Umrah, adding a strong spiritual dimension to the overall experience.

The summit will conclude with an awarding ceremony recognizing outstanding participants and teams. Award categories include Best Project, Best Group, Best Participant, and Best Presenter for both male and female delegates. Winners will receive certificates, medals, and recognition across official summit platforms.

The program is open to Muslim youth aged 15 to 40 from all nationalities and academic backgrounds, with basic English communication skills recommended. Participants under the age of 18 are advised to travel with a guardian. Two registration schemes are available, including fully funded and self-funded options. The fully funded scheme requires an essay and interview, follows a competitive selection process, and involves an initial payment that is later reimbursed. Fully funded participants may also be eligible for moderation roles. The self-funded scheme does not require an essay, interview, or social campaign and is automatically available to applicants who are not selected for the fully funded category.

Participants will receive mentoring and pre-orientation support, seminar kits, meals, local transportation, city and university visits, Umrah arrangements, certificates of participation, and media coverage such as press releases, interviews, and recap videos. Program fees do not cover visa or international flight expenses.

Fully funded registration is open from November 15, 2025, to January 15, 2026, while self-funded registration will remain open until February 15, 2026. Letters of acceptance will be issued in three batches between December 2025 and February 2026, with final fully funded results announced between March 1 and March 5, 2026. Applications are submitted online through a digital process that allows candidates to upload required documents and complete registration from anywhere in the world.
