The Sindh Education Department has announced a scholarship program for students seeking admission to Oxford University, covering undergraduate, master’s, MPhil, and PhD programs. The initiative is aimed at supporting talented students from Sindh by providing financial assistance to pursue education at one of the world’s leading universities.
To be eligible, applicants must hold a valid Sindh domicile and a National Identity Card (CNIC). Candidates are required to meet Oxford University’s academic merit standards and demonstrate strong proficiency in English in accordance with the university’s admission requirements. Only students who satisfy both Oxford’s admission criteria and the scholarship’s eligibility requirements will be considered for selection.
Eligible candidates will undergo a shortlisting process, followed by a formal interview to determine the final recipients. The scholarship program reflects the Sindh government’s commitment to providing access to world-class education and comes in the context of a recent visit to Oxford University by Pakistan Peoples Party Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari and the Chief Minister of Sindh. This initiative is designed to empower deserving students, enabling them to achieve academic excellence and gain international exposure.
