The Fulbright BioLAB Scholarship 2026 in Poland is now open for applications, offering an exceptional opportunity for students worldwide interested in biological sciences, biophysics, or medicine. This prestigious program welcomes both national and international candidates pursuing Master’s or PhD studies and provides a fully funded, one-year research traineeship designed to enhance scientific expertise and practical laboratory experience. Participants gain access to world-class research facilities and mentorship, preparing them for advanced careers in research and academia while contributing to innovative scientific projects.

The scholarship covers a salary ranging from 28,000 to 35,000 USD per year, compensation for living expenses, visa sponsorship (F-1 or J-1), medical insurance, and continuous support throughout the program. The Fulbright BioLAB Scholarship enables candidates to work in top-tier laboratories, engage in cutting-edge research, and gain hands-on experience under expert supervision.

Eligible applicants must hold at least a bachelor’s degree, maintain a high GPA (4.0 or above in the Polish grading system), and demonstrate English proficiency at B2 level or higher. Candidates must remain enrolled as students in Poland throughout the program and be qualified for an F-1 or J-1 U.S. visa. International students enrolled at Polish universities are also eligible to apply. Applicants are required to provide two personal recommendation letters, ideally including one from a mentor or academic supervisor familiar with their laboratory work or research potential.

Required documents for application include an online application form, academic transcript, personal statement, list of preferred research projects, signed consent for participation, up-to-date curriculum vitae or resume, certificates of English proficiency, proof of laboratory skills or technical training, and any research publications, abstracts, or posters.

Applications must be submitted online through the official Fulbright BioLAB portal. All documents should be compiled into a single PDF file. The application cycle for the 2026–27 BioLAB Program begins in October 2025, and preparing documents in advance is recommended to ensure timely submission and maximize the chances of selection. The final deadline for applications is 1 February 2026.
