Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Chairman Mohsin Naqvi has reaffirmed his commitment to making the Pakistan Super League (PSL) one of the world’s premier T20 competitions. Speaking at the PSL roadshow held at Lord’s Cricket Ground, Naqvi emphasized the league’s growth and its potential to become the top T20 tournament globally.
During a panel discussion with former cricket legends Wasim Akram and Ramiz Raja, Naqvi shared his vision for the PSL, stating that the goal is to make it the number one league in the world. He expressed confidence in achieving this target, highlighting the guidance and suggestions he has received from current players and cricket veterans.
Naqvi mentioned that insights from respected figures like Ramiz Raja, as well as players including Babar Azam, Haris Rauf, and Farhan Zaidi, have provided valuable advice on improving the league. He noted that many of these recommendations are being considered for implementation, reflecting the PCB’s commitment to enhancing the PSL experience for players, fans, and investors alike.
The PSL roadshow at Lord’s also aimed to showcase the league’s progress over the years and attract further investment, reinforcing Pakistan’s position as a hub for high-quality cricket and sports entertainment.
