ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Chairman Mohsin Naqvi has unveiled plans to host Pakistan Super League (PSL) 11 matches at Muzaffarabad Stadium in Azad Kashmir, marking a significant milestone in the region’s cricketing development.

The announcement comes on the heels of the PSL Roadshow at Lord’s in London, where Muzaffarabad and Abbottabad stadiums were showcased as key venues undergoing major infrastructure upgrades to meet PSL and international standards.

Muzaffarabad Stadium, also known as Narol Cricket Stadium, has previously hosted domestic tournaments such as the Kashmir Premier League but has yet to feature in PSL or international fixtures. Abbottabad Stadium, lauded for its picturesque setting, is likewise being upgraded to host high-profile cricket events in the near future.

PCB officials emphasized that the inclusion of these venues aligns with broader efforts to expand top-tier cricket across Pakistan, bringing fans closer to the action while strengthening facilities to meet global standards.
