This advanced system is capable of predicting pollution levels and smog intensity up to four months in advance, giving authorities the ability to implement preventive actions and alert the healthcare sector in a timely manner.
The initiative is part of a broader environmental strategy and features a network of advanced air monitoring stations, drone surveillance for real-time observation, and continuous tracking of emissions from industrial sources. These tools allow for more accurate assessments of air quality and faster enforcement of environmental regulations.
To further reduce air pollution, the government is implementing several key measures. These include restrictions on the burning of crop residue, the promotion of electric public transportation such as buses, and strict monitoring of fuel quality standards across the region. In addition, a centralized Smog War Room has been established to coordinate immediate responses to any violations, ensuring rapid action and accountability.
