The Prime Minister’s Youth Programme (PMYP) has introduced the Digital Skills Training of Trainers initiative, aimed at enhancing youth expertise in emerging technologies and promoting digital innovation across Pakistan. In its first phase, 200 young professionals will undergo online training in artificial intelligence, e-commerce, digital marketing, and data analytics to prepare them as certified trainers for future learners.

During the launch ceremony, PMYP Chairman Rana Mashhood Ahmed emphasized that this initiative aligns with the Prime Minister’s vision of building a “Digital Pakistan.” He highlighted that the program will empower the country’s youth with globally competitive digital skills essential for future employment and entrepreneurship.

The training program is being implemented in collaboration with the National Vocational and Technical Training Commission (NAVTTC), Uni Services International, and ITMC China. Upon completion, participants will receive joint certifications from Pakistani and Chinese institutions, ensuring international recognition.

Designed to create a multiplier effect, the Digital Skills Training of Trainers program will enable these certified trainers to pass on advanced digital knowledge to thousands of young people across the country, strengthening Pakistan’s digital economy and workforce readiness for the future.
