Iran Air has introduced a new direct flight route between Mashhad and Lahore, set to begin on October 29, 2025. This nonstop service, operated by an Airbus A319, will reduce travel time to just over three and a half hours, offering a quicker connection between Iran’s spiritual center, Mashhad—home to the revered Imam Reza shrine—and Lahore, a major cultural and economic hub in Pakistan. The launch is designed to enhance regional mobility and support the growing demand for tourism, family visits, and cross-border business travel. This route is part of a wider bilateral aviation agreement aimed at deepening connectivity between Iran and Pakistan, easing travel procedures, and fostering closer cooperation.
