ABHI Microfinance Bank has raised approximately Rs. 2.05 billion through the book-building portion of its initial public offering after demand surpassed the shares available, according to Pakistan Stock Exchange book-building data and a company announcement.

The book-building tranche covered 99 million of the bank's 132 million ordinary shares on offer, with a floor price set at Rs. 15.00 per share. PSX data show an indicative strike price of Rs. 15.50, with bids placed for about 157.17 million shares. That represents roughly 159 percent of the offer at the floor price and approximately 106 percent at the strike price.

The company described the exercise as Pakistan's first fintech-led microfinance bank IPO. It reported total bids exceeding Rs. 2.4 billion, with interest coming from foreign funds, local institutions, and high-net-worth investors. The remaining 33 million shares are set to be offered to the general public at the strike price on November 12 and 13, 2026.

ABHI had earlier indicated that the full IPO could raise between Rs. 2 billion and Rs. 3 billion. The proceeds are intended to expand the bank's loan book and strengthen its capital base.

The oversubscription reflects continued investor appetite for fintech-linked offerings on the Pakistan Stock Exchange, even as the broader market weighs economic conditions and interest-rate trends. The public subscription phase will determine the final scale of capital raised.
