The move marks a strategic expansion for the company beyond its established mobile phone and consumer electronics business into the emerging electric mobility sector.

AirV debuts with 11 models spread across six distinct series, designed to address different customer preferences, riding needs and applications. The lineup includes features such as cruise control, regenerative battery technology, NFC connectivity and anti-theft systems. Buyers can choose from lithium battery options, with certain models offering ranges of up to 200 kilometres on a single charge.

The company is leveraging more than seven years of experience and an existing ecosystem that spans manufacturing, nationwide distribution, retail, e-commerce and consumer financing. Airlink holds partnerships with global brands including Samsung, Xiaomi, TECNO, itel, Hisense and Acer, and also operates as an Apple Authorized Reseller. Its manufacturing operations are based at the Sundar Industrial Estate in Lahore, which the company describes as central to its commitment to local production and industrial development.

Speaking at the launch, Airlink Chairman Aslam Hayat Piracha said the company aims to contribute to a stronger and more progressive Pakistan through innovation. He stated that AirV is intended to make modern, reliable and technology-driven mobility more accessible and affordable, while supporting the country's broader EV ecosystem through local manufacturing and sustainable business practices.

Group CEO Muzaffar Hayat Paracha said Airlink's growth has been driven by identifying emerging opportunities and turning them into successful businesses. He noted that the company sees significant potential in Pakistan's shift toward electric mobility and that AirV is envisioned as the foundation of a wider mobility business serving both individual and enterprise customers.

The launch event was attended by industry leaders, channel partners, business associates, media representatives and influencers. Backed by a nationwide network of retailers and partners, Airlink is positioning AirV to achieve broad market reach and accessibility as it seeks to establish a trusted presence in Pakistan's electric two-wheeler segment.
