The National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) has introduced a new facility for applicants whose identity document applications are rejected during the quality control (QC) review stage. Under the new procedure, affected individuals can resubmit their applications under the Executive category free of charge, avoiding additional fees.

According to an official public awareness announcement, citizens can visit any nearby NADRA Registration Centre to complete the necessary formalities if their application status shows “QC Rejected.” This applies to applications submitted either at a NADRA office or through the PakID mobile application. Once the required process is completed, NADRA will resubmit the application under the Executive category at no extra cost.

Quality Control is a standard step in which NADRA reviews applications before issuing identity documents. An application may be marked “QC Rejected” if it does not clear this review, often due to incomplete or unclear information. The new measure aims to streamline the resolution process and reduce inconvenience for applicants.

For overseas applicants who submitted NICOP or Pakistan Origin Card (POC) applications via PakID and reside in countries without a NADRA centre, the authority has also introduced a separate complaint-based procedure. This ensures that such applicants can address QC rejections without visiting a NADRA office in person.

NADRA’s latest initiative is expected to ease the burden on citizens who face rejection during quality control, providing a clear and free path to resubmission. The authority encourages eligible applicants to visit their nearest NADRA office to complete the required procedures and continue with their identity document processing.
