Endeavor Pakistan has appointed Mubariz Siddiqui as its new Managing Director, with the role taking effect on November 1, 2026. Siddiqui will lead the organisation's Pakistan team and report to its local board as well as Endeavor Global. He takes over from Shehryar Hydri, who previously held the position.

Siddiqui has been active in Pakistan's startup ecosystem since 2015. He founded Carbon Law, a firm that advised startups, investors and technology companies on venture financing, corporate structuring and regulatory issues. He also served as General Counsel at the venture capital firm Sarmayacar and has held senior legal roles on corporate and infrastructure projects.

According to Endeavor Pakistan, the organisation will seek out entrepreneurs across a range of sectors, including retail, agriculture, healthcare, logistics, services and consumer brands. Selected founders join an international network that spans more than 45 markets and offers access to mentors, business contacts and potential investors.

Mudassir Sheikha, co-founder of Careem and founding board chair of Endeavor Pakistan, said the organisation aims to identify founders capable of building large companies across different industries. Siddiqui said entrepreneurship can create opportunities for economic and social mobility in Pakistan, and that the organisation will work with founders, mentors and institutions to strengthen the country's entrepreneurial ecosystem.

Endeavor Pakistan began operations in 2022 as the global organisation's 40th office. Its entrepreneurs include businesses such as Bazaar, Abhi, SadaPay, LAAM, PostEx, PriceOye, QistBazaar and KamelPay, reflecting its focus on high-growth local ventures.

The leadership change comes as Pakistan's startup sector continues to draw interest from local and international investors, with organisations such as Endeavor playing a role in connecting founders to global networks and expertise.
