Saudi Arabia's Flynas is moving to expand its footprint in Pakistan by adding Sialkot as a new international destination on its route network. The airline intends to operate three weekly flights between Jeddah and Sialkot International Airport, with the service targeted to begin within November, according to a source familiar with the plan.

The plan follows a meeting between a five-member Flynas delegation, headed by the airline's Pakistan Country Manager Manzoor Thanvi, and senior officials of Sialkot International Airport Limited (SIAL). SIAL Chairman Malik Abdul Ghafoor, Business Development Committee Convenor Mian Naeem Javed and Chief Executive Officer AVM Tanweer Ashraf Bhatti (retd.) took part in the discussions.

During the meeting, the SIAL chairman welcomed the delegation and expressed support for the carrier's intention to start operations from the airport. The proposed route is expected to improve air connectivity between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia and give travelers in Sialkot and nearby districts an additional option for international travel.

For SIAL, the addition would broaden the airport's roster of operating airlines and reinforce its position as a growing hub for international travel, trade and business links. Sialkot is a major center for exports and manufacturing, and its overseas diaspora, particularly in the Gulf, has long driven demand for direct air links.

The airline's expansion comes as demand for Pakistan–Saudi Arabia travel remains strong, supported by labor migration, religious travel and family visits. If launched as planned, the Jeddah–Sialkot service would add capacity on a corridor currently served by a limited number of carriers.

An official launch date and schedule are expected to be confirmed closer to the start of operations. Neither Flynas nor SIAL has issued a detailed statement on fares or aircraft type for the proposed route.
